Faux or no

There’s nothing like fur or feathers to bring texture to an outfit. Now that fashion-forward designers are really embracing and improving the appearance of faux pelts and plumage, we can keep the look and nix the guilt.

Depending on how you use these materials, they can be lush and lux, natural and warm, or fun and flirty. With only one exception, I have collected my favorite faux pieces – from natural-looking faux furs to a silk-blend feather skirt to shag yarn jackets. (Yes, I said shag yarn.)
